Mick Wright is a candidate for Shelby County Commission in District 3, representing Bartlett, Lakeland and parts of Raleigh. He shares our values and will serve as an effective and vocal advocate for our community. As commissioner, Mick Wright will work to improve public safety, strengthen the local economy, and support public schools, while holding the line on taxes and spending.

About Mick Wright

Mick Wright and his wife, Alison, have lived in Shelby County since 2000. He is a graduate of Harding University, a member of the PRSA-Memphis chapter and a 15-year employee of Youth Villages. He is a member of the Memphis Runners Track Club and the Bartlett First Responders Monument Committee. He has served as President of the Northeast Shelby Republican Club and as Vice Chair of the Shelby County Republican Party. He was 8th District Chair for Ted Cruz for President and in 2016 was elected as a delegate to the Republican National Convention.
